Sensorium Corporation is pleased to announce that Sensorium Galaxy has won one of the most recognized prizes in the virtual reality industry, the Laval Virtual Awards 2021, in the category of Best VR / AR for Entertainment and Media.
The Laval Virtual Awards are a well-established recognition of remarkable virtual and augmented reality projects and their creators. The awards ceremony took place on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at the Espace Mayenne in the town of Laval, known to be one of the world's capitals for VR and AR initiatives.
Other nominees for this prestigious award included WW1 Line Of Fire (Iconik), INCARNA R•AI•D (Incarna Studios), and OWO Game Haptic Vest (OWO).
Alex Blagirev, Deputy CEO at Sensorium: "We are excited and honored to get this prestigious award as Sensorium continues to move forward on its journey of modernization for the entertainment industry. We believe that virtual reality is definitely a game-changer when it comes to delivering content. Sensorium Corporation products incorporate best practices in the VR and AR space to create highly immersive and easily accessible digital experiences."
The awards ceremony was part of Laval Virtual — a three-day hybrid exhibition that gathered renowned speakers from more than 50 countries. This engaging event was held from July 7-9, 2021, and was visited by over 18,000 industry professionals.
This event was organized by Laval Virtual — an association that unites projects and developers of immersive technologies since 1999. The association and its events counted with the initial support of François d'Aubert, former Minister of Research and Mayor of Laval.
Back in 2020, Sensorium Corporation joined VRDays — a world-class conference organized in partnership with the Laval Virtual Association.
